Mr Buffett is 82 and he like to buy breakfast at McDonalds most days. I think he pfrrees the sausage sandwich. He bought stock in Dairy Queen because he loves their food. Mutual funds tend to be longer term investments. How long will the oracle continue at the helm?

John, Thanks for the message. I did attend the Markel brunch this time and took notes. The meeting was casual. Tom Gayner and Steve Markel along with CFO and COO of Markel were on the stage. It was a entertaining and educational.It was a great way to experience the culture of Markel Corp. I will post it soon.

Hari, I’m not sure if you’re aware of the event but you should consider attending and posting about the Markel Brunch on Sunday. It’s held in the Grand Ballroom at the Hilton ~10 AM to noon. About 500 people attend, they feed you and it’s an open mic format. Judging by your coverage of Dhandho Holdings, I think you would be interested in attending. Funny that we haven’t met in the past. I’ve been an early riser at the south entrance to the CenturyLink Center for the past 5 years. This year I was 2-3 people in front of Mohnish Pabrai and Guy Spier.
